JMAC starting off the week celebrating Soror Reverend Maxine Bolden, newly appointed as the 43rd pastor of White Oak United Methodist Church in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. Her appointment was announced at the 2025 Mississippi Annual United Methodist Conference held at Millsaps College in June.

In addition to continuing her service as chaplain at Methodist Rehabilitation Center, Reverend Bolden brings her heart for healing, faith, and leadership to this historic congregation. She shared, “I feel blessed to be appointed in this new season to two places that have such a rich history and abundant futures. Oh bless the Lord with me!”
