To celebrate the legacy of sisterhood and service, the ladies of the Jackson (MS) Alumnae Chapter (JMAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. kicked off Founders Day weekend by making a meaningful impact in the community. This year, JMAC partnered with Stewpot Community Services to organize their food pantry and ensure that families in need have access to essential resources.
Armed with a spirit of giving and a commitment to service, our chapter members spent the day sorting and stocking shelves, checking inventory, and preparing the pantry for efficient distribution.
This effort reflects the core of what our sisterhood stands for—uplifting and empowering our communities, one act of service at a time. Stewpot’s mission to provide food, clothing, shelter, and love to those in need aligns perfectly with our ongoing dedication to public service.
As we celebrate over a century of sisterhood, scholarship, and service, we are reminded that even small actions can create a ripple effect of positivity. The Day of Impact set the tone for a weekend full of celebration, fellowship, and reflection on the legacy of our 22 trailblazing Founders.
JMAC is proud to continue their vision of service, and we look forward to making an even greater impact in the years to come.
