Our Go Red: Power of a Healthy Heart event was more than a program — it was action!

Community members took charge of their health through free comprehensive heart screenings, learning their numbers and what to do next. We expanded access by providing transportation for unhoused neighbors and local community centers, ensuring more people could be part of the day.

From hands-only CPR and step and chair aerobics to live nutrition demos and powerful insights from the American Heart Association of Mississippi and the Association of Black Cardiologists, the room was filled with practical tools, real conversations, and shared responsibility.

Because of you — our members, partners, and vendors — we also raised $2,791.65 for the Metro Jackson Chapter of the American Heart Association, supporting heart health education, research, and advocacy right here at home.
