Jackson (MS) Alumnae Chapter and Delta Pi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. came together to make a meaningful impact on the community by hosting a dynamic Community Health Fair and Baby Shower on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the beautiful campus of Tougaloo College. This collaborative effort aimed to provide essential resources and support to expecting mothers and families in need.
The event showcased a range of invaluable services, including free health screenings and a wealth of health-related information from diverse vendors. From blood pressure checks to informative sessions on prenatal care, guests had access to crucial health resources, empowering them to make informed decisions for themselves and their families.
Central to the occasion was our Baby Shower segment, where expectant mothers were showered with love, support, and practical gifts to assist them on their journey into parenthood. Through generous donations and community contributions, we were able to provide maternal resources and essentials to ensure that these mothers felt supported and prepared for the arrival of their little ones.
