Welcome to the official website of the Jackson (MS) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.  We are pleased that you’ve chosen to visit.  It is my honor and privilege to serve this chapter as President for 2020-2022 because it is absolutely true here that “Membership Matters.”

The Jackson (MS) Alumnae Chapter was chartered in 1941 and for the past 80 years has served the Metro Jackson area.  Our service area now also includes the Tougaloo Community and Rankin County, Mississippi.  As we continue to focus on investing in the community by concentrating on Delta’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust (Economic Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, Educational Development, and Political Awareness and Involvement), we will honor our venerable Founders and celebrate our history as we fulfill the quadrennial theme of “Joy in Our Sisterhood, Power in Our Voice, and Service in our Heart.”

If you are already a member of our illustrious sisterhood and are searching for a chapter home, we welcome you.  Our chapter offers warmth, the celebration of each individual, opportunities for personal growth, and it encourages intergenerational service and involvement.  We invite you to visit a chapter meeting and/or any of our events.  If you have questions or just want to know more about the chapter or its activities,  please  don’t hesitate to contact us at  president@jacksonmsalumnae.org .  Join us as we continue to do the work of Delta, by promoting Delta’s programs and projects while also building relationships that are designed to yield collaborations and partnerships.  In JMAC, you are home, with a family of more than 400 to support and encourage all your endeavors and where “Membership Matters.”

Please visit the website often for information about upcoming events as we continue to work together.  It is in this way that we ensure the future that we all envision for our beloved chapter and for the community which we service.
